QCan I get more than one telephone call to my phone number?

A: Yes, you can have more than one person call your number at the same time.     Depending on your device, you will either have a second line ring, giving you the option to answer the call or the call will go directly to your voicemail.

QDo we need to purchase additional equipment for a large business?

A: There are no costly on-premise hardware to purchase in order to utilize our services. Just have Internet and the phones you need. This also means no hardware to install, thus eliminating the need to hire professionals. ToTel will help you find the best high speed Internet service available from the CruzIO building, at which our office is located. Additionally, you have the option of purchasing Cisco or snom phones (see the ‘Phone’ page) through ToTel or directly online based on our recommendation of what phones and accessories would benefit you and your business.

QWhat if need phones in more than one office location?

A: Because we take advantage of cloud computing, you can connect multiple office locations under one cloud system and easily manage all phones from anywhere with Internet access!

QI have multiple phones plugged into my LAN, but why is only one phone working?

A: Check your Application Layer Gateway (ALG) settings on your router and disable it.

Residential Service FAQs

Q: Can I keep my existing number if I switch to TōTel?

A: Yes you can! This is called porting and once you make the switch from your old telephone company, we will provide you with a temporary number while we finish the number porting process!
Q: Do I have to purchase additional equipment to utilize your services?

A: Not at all! All you need to begin using TōTel is an Internet service and a telephone!
Q: If I have an old analog phone, can I use your digital service?

A: Yes. Although the services offered by TōTel are digital and designed to work best with VoIP phones, we can still work with your analog phones and provide you with high quality phone service! Ask us how!
